Dental services for children and youth

Half of the clinic’s work on concession is devoted to children’s and youth dentistry. Our small patients come to us right after their first visit to the pedontology specialist, usually at 3 years of age. Here they are prepared for their first preventative closure procedure on fissures on baby teeth, usually at the age of 3.5 years. This is followed by regular check-ups every 6 months. Parents are educated on the importance of supervising their children’s teeth brushing until the age of 10. Our young patients are also monitored for any orthodontic problems and are referred to an orthodontist as necessary. Once they turn 18 these patients can continue their dental management regime as part of our services for adults.
